Philippa Hardman and Gameshift

Philippa Hardman specialises in working with organisations to help them have better quality discussions about strategy, change and organisation design. While she frequently consults to Boards and senior management teams, Philippa’s work also focuses on increasing the participation of people across the organisation to ensure that any changes are not only achieved but sustainable.

As a Chartered Accountant Philippa has a rare combination of financial acumen with change/organisation design skills that allows her to help deliver complex people-related projects. Her clients describe her as someone who is very committed to helping them make a difference through pragmatic interventions and support.

In recent years she has led work to develop the academic models of leading thinkers such as Campbell and Goold (org design experts) and translated them into unique facilitation processes to liberate the wisdom inside organisations within a rigorous framework, leading to robust structural designs and operating models.

Her excellent group facilitation skills, psychological savvy and courage, make her a provocative but supportive developmental leader in group work and coaching mode.

Philippa works with a wide range of clients across the public and private sectors (Europe and North America). Clients include Avis, Aviva, AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Barclays, BBC, Beiersdorf, The Cochrane Collaboration, Egmont Group, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Home Office, House of Commons, WSP Group.
