Andy has a particular interest in leadership skills and behaviours, particularly leadership presence and authenticity as it is expressed in remote and virtual working situations.
Andy combines a pragmatic style with strong organisational and theoretical knowledge. He is a natural people-developer, joining his clients in a supportive, but provocative way which helps both individuals and groups (for example virtual action learning groups) to think creatively for themselves, and enjoys helping people to 'grow' their own solutions and new practices.
Previously holding a leadership position at Ashridge Executive Education, as well as an operational role in delivering education using technology, he played an instrumental part in moving on the theory and practice of virtual and remote leadership throughout the period 2010 to 2020.
Working in the in the Financial Services, Energy, Transport, Food Packaging and Education industries as well as with Public Sector clients, Andy brings a range of industry experience to his work.
Andy holds a BA (Hons) degree in English from Oxford Brookes University and is an Ashridge Accredited Coach.
He is a qualified psychometric assessor and feedback-giver in a range of instruments.
